Hey everyone!
this is my wiki, lottefalafel forces.
here you will learn about the force of gravity, as i form an experiment to drop an innocent egg from a height of
1.0m
1.5m
2.0m
and if the egg (called Albert)
is still intact, I will continue to drop it from greater heights until Albert dies.
(sob!)
AIM
To see how high I can drop an egg in a specially made container until the egg breaks.
MATERIALS
A ball of wool/acrylic
A mid-size polystyrine ball
Cotton wool
Playdo/Plasticine
cotton (fabric, roughly 20cm squared)
Egg
Spoon
1 litre tupperware box
A roll of sticky tape
feathers
METHOD
1.Get container, and line it with roughly 1cm (on the inside) thick of Plasticine around the bottom and up the sides
2.Next, stick cotton wool onto the placticine aand push down firmly, until you cannot see the placticine anymore.
3.Repeat steps 1 and 2
4.Cut the polystyrine ball in half with a knife, and hollow it out with a centimetre thick left.
5.Place the egg into the halved and hollowed ball, and place in to the container, nestled between the feathers
6.Make a perfect circle (measure and cut using a protractor) and attach four lengths of string to the sides of the circle. Attach the other ends of the string to the container.
7.Kiss Alfred goodbye, and close the cotton wool lined lid.
